His mother was killed by a mobster that is not in jail. He finds a book named Death Note and brings home. He learns that the name written on the blank pages will be murdered. When the bully Kenny Doyle is bulling Mia Sutton, Light defends her but is hit by Kenny. When Light arrives at home, the demon Ryuk explains the rules of Death Note and Light writes the name of Kenny. Immediately after, there is a car crash on the street and Danny is beheaded. \thr he writes the name of his mother's killer and he is killed in a restaurant. Danny likes Mia and tells her what the Death Note does, and they kill worldwide criminals. But the efficient detective L comes to Seattle to resolve the murders. "Death Note" (2017) is a horror movie with a promising beginning. But after the arrival of L in Seattle, it becomes confusing and disappointing. My vote is four.
